Key information for dual credit students 2020-2021

A Facebook page was launched on January 4, 2020 to facilitate interactive communications among Japanese dual credit teachers in Indiana.
Materials DC teachers prepare for site visit
1.One check list for each file at the beginning of your file;
2. One list for each level of your professional development for the year;
3. For each level, 3 sample GRADED tests, quizzes, etc.;
4. Final grades (last year ok) without names FOR EACH LEVEL you teach;
4. A copy of syllabus for EACH LEVEL you teach.
5. Scan all the above documents into one PDF file FOR EACH LEVEL and send them to me by email attachment.
Upload their signed permission form into their Slate application.
Once the application is completed and the permission form uploaded, the application can be approved.
It then takes two to three working days for the process to be completed for students to be able to register for their classes. Check after 1 p.m.
To Register:
go to my.bsu.edu
sign in with their Ball State username and password
click on Self-Service Banner

Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal
Be sure the term reads - Fall 2020
submit
Click on Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal again
DO NOT LOOK FOR YOUR CLASSES
type in the 5-digit reference number for each class in one block
submit
To verify their registration, go back to Registration and click on Schedule
they should see their class
sign-out - top right corner and close the browse.
Reset password
Start at www.bsu.edu/password
click on “Forgotten Password” – top right corner
type in their username
submit.
They will be sent two emails.
The first email will contain an URL and a key code.
Click on the URL and type in the key code
Submit.
The second email will contain a token
Click on the token and create their new password.
Sometimes the students forget to look for their information and the token expires.
They can redo this process at any time to create their new information.
